  The pea starch production line of Huatai Potato Industry adopts the wet processing technology of starch production without adding any additives. The whole process technology is mature, the equipment performance is superior, the solution is scientific, and the process is reasonable. The starch production process is designed according to six sections: soaking→crushing→sieving→concentrating and refining→dehydrating→drying. In particular, the crushing and sieving section adopts a curved net extrusion type flour mill, through the unique process of multi-stage crushing, multi-stage filtration, and multi-stage extrusion in sequence, which has the advantages of thorough crushing, low energy consumption, high starch extraction rate, and starch The advantage of good quality improves the production efficiency of the production line and the extraction rate of starch.

Applicable objects and features:

  It is suitable for medium-scale and above-scale starch processing manufacturers and customers who use peas as raw materials. The process is automated from the soaking of raw materials, crushing, starch extraction, fine filtration, sand removal, concentration, refining, dehydration, and drying. The processing volume of the product is large, the production cycle is short, and it only takes about ten minutes from raw material cleaning to finished product, which greatly improves the production efficiency and product quality of pea starch.

Process flow:

1. Sorting and removing stones: Sorting the purchased dried peas to remove other impurities such as stones.

2. Soaking: Soak the peas in clean water for at least 3 hours, so that the starch can be fully extracted in the later process.

3. Crushing and grinding, preliminary extraction of starch: Most of the market uses file mills and centrifugal sieves to complete the preliminary extraction and filtration of starch. If a special curved net extrusion type flour mill is used, peas can be squeezed, crushed, filtered, and extracted High-concentration starch slurry with low water content is convenient for subsequent processing.

4. Filtration and purification, sand and mud removal, to ensure the taste and quality: a variety of machinery and equipment to separate the fine fibers in the starch slurry from the starch; used for starch purification to remove fine impurities and sediment in the starch.

5. Concentration and refining to improve the whiteness of starch: further separation of non-starch substances can independently complete the separation, washing, concentration and other operations of starch, modified starch, fermentation, chemical industry and other industries.

6. Dehydration and drying: The water content of the starch slurry is high, and the dehydration treatment improves the clarity of the starch; the starch drying step quickly removes the moisture in the wet material to achieve instant drying, and then the finished product is bagged.
