Fermented rapeseed meal

Rapeseed meal (rapeseed cake) is a high-protein feed with great utilization value, containing 35%--40% protein, digestible energy 10.46--12.55kj/kg, calcium 0.61%, and phosphorus 0. 95%, and also contains iron, copper, manganese, selenium and other trace elements and multiple vitamins. However, because it contains anti-nutritional factors such as glucosinolate, erucic acid, phytic acid and tannin, its use and dosage are greatly reduced. Glucosinolate can produce a variety of toxic substances when it meets myrosinase or in the digestive tract, causing thyroid enlargement and damage to the digestive tract, liver and kidneys of pigs; erucic acid can hinder the growth of animals; phytic acid can combine with calcium, magnesium, and zinc, affecting Body development; in addition to being bitter, tannins also hinder protein digestion. Therefore, rapeseed meal must be detoxified before it can be used as feed.

In the past, the main detoxification methods of rapeseed meal include alkali neutralization, soil burial, soaking, silage and ammonia treatment. However, none of them are ideal. Some methods lose part of the nutrients of rapeseed meal, and some methods are troublesome in process. The methods are time-consuming, and some methods discharge waste water and pollute the environment.

Use highly active biological preparations to detoxify rapeseed meal. This is a type of high-efficiency live dry bacterial preparation composed of lactic acid bacteria, yeasts, Bacillus and Geotrichum candidum and other strains. Using it to ferment rapeseed cake can not only remove toxic components, but also increase beneficial components in rapeseed cake.
