1. Ethylene oxide has certain toxicity to the human body. Excessive inhalation can cause dizziness, headache, nausea, and vomiting; ethylene oxide gas is flammable and explosive. There is a danger of combustion and explosion; therefore, when the sterilizer is operated, it must be airtight and airtight, and an exhaust device should be installed in the disinfection room.
2. The sterilizer should be installed in a well-ventilated special room with a room temperature above 10°C, and there should be a water source, power supply, and sewer; smoking and open flames are strictly prohibited, and its ethylene oxide gas should not be installed and stored in the basement. Once a leak occurs, it is not easy to spread and discharge.
3. The room where the ethylene oxide sterilizer gas tank is placed should be equipped with corresponding safety protection equipment and fire extinguishing agents (such as: mist water, alcohol-resistant foam, dry powder, carbon dioxide).
4. The power supply is a dedicated line with a reliable ground.
5. The sterilization box should be placed stably, connect the water injection port with the water source, connect the residue discharge with the discharge equipment, and pay attention to sealing.
6. Connect the ethylene oxide gas cylinder to the drug inlet with the configured special drug inlet tube to ensure no leakage.
