From a small factory that could only produce small oil extraction equipment more than 30 years ago, how did "Huatai" grow into a "little giant"? With such questions, we walked into the workshop of Huatai Intelligent Equipment Group to find out.

  Deputy General Manager Zhang Guofu enthusiastically led us to visit the sample display workshop, and revealed a piece of good news to us while walking: Not long ago, with the approval of the Human Resources and Social Security Department of Henan Province, 135 new postdoctoral innovation practice bases were added in the province. Huatai is one of them.

   Walking into the sample display workshop, the sight in front of you is spectacular. Hundreds of meters from west to east, a set of brand-new mechanical equipment with different shapes and fine workmanship is lined up on both sides. The sun shines on the machines, and the logo of "Huatai" shines brightly.

  In front of a rice bran extruder, Zhang Guofu talked about a past event more than 20 years ago. The founder of the company, Yan Zipeng, led a technical team to investigate abroad and learned that rice bran can not only be used in the feed industry, but also can extract good food-grade nutritional health oil. . After returning to China, he led the technical team and did not stop at the original point of introducing and using foreign technology, but continued to innovate and improve in practice, and developed a rice bran oil production line with a daily processing capacity of 30 tons to 300 tons, and the technology is becoming more and more mature. In 2008, it undertook the first 100-ton rice bran primary oil processing production line in the country, and obtained the national invention patent, which opened the golden age of turning rice bran waste into treasure.

"We have not only expanded our business to the oil field, but also have the ability to provide complete turnkey projects." Zhang Guofu is quite proud, "In terms of oil processing technology, from reaching the national standard to surpassing the national standard, and then to the pioneer in the formulation of Chinese oil standards, in In some ways, we're leading the industry."

   Turning north from the sample display workshop, we walked into the grain and oil machinery production workshop. According to Fan Xintian, head of the production department, Huatai's production field is constantly expanding, and it has become a large-scale grain and oil machinery, environmental protection machinery, and medical equipment manufacturing enterprise integrating R&D, design, manufacturing, installation, and after-sales service. The company has purchased new laser cutting equipment, CNC machine tools, welding robots, CNC bending machines and other intelligent equipment.

The production efficiency of "armed to the teeth" enterprises has been greatly improved, and the "Belt and Road" initiative has brought Huatai to the world stage. Fan Xintian said that in recent years, with the help of international exhibitions, cross-border e-commerce and the establishment of foreign offices, Huatai's products have been recognized by more and more countries and regions, and overseas orders have soared. At present, about 70% of the group's annual turnover comes from overseas, which is several times higher than before 2013.

This order comes from Uzbekistan." Fan Xintian told us, "After this set of equipment is completed, it will be delivered by China-Europe Railway Express.    Going forward, there is Huatai's intelligent integrated sewage purification equipment. Fan Xintian patted the several-meter-long behemoth with a smile on his face and said: "I'm not boasting, our equipment is ready to use. When it is transported to the site, it only needs to be connected. The sewer and drain pipes, once connected to the power supply, were up and running in less than two hours."

   From the establishment of Huaxian Grain Machinery Factory in 1988, to the listing on the New Third Board in 2016, and then to the ranks of national-level specialized and special new "little giant" enterprises, what is the secret of Huatai's quiet growth? Walking out of the production workshop, Yan Zipeng and we stopped in front of the company's "patent wall". A set of data on it shows that the company currently has a scientific research team of more than 80 people, and the annual R&D investment is more than 10 million yuan. Through continuous innovation and breakthroughs, we have developed rice bran extruders, palm fruit double-screw oil presses, large sunflower seed shellers, soybean protein and biodiesel and other complete sets of equipment, filling the gaps in domestic products. At present, the company has obtained 56 national patents and 9 invention patents.
