Fatty acid traps are generally used in deacidification and deodorization process sections of oil refining. In a vacuum state, it is used to trap small droplets of free fatty acids and other gaseous substances with peculiar smell. After spraying, it adheres to the stainless steel filler, thus playing the role of collecting free fatty acids.
The gas evaporated from the deodorization enters from the bottom of the fatty acid trap and passes through the packing layer from bottom to top. The liquid fatty acid is sprayed out from the spray pipe and passes through the packing layer from top to bottom. In the packing layer, the two media fully contact. The condensable components in the gas are condensed and absorbed by the liquid, collected at the lower part of the fatty acid trap and discharged, and the non-condensable components in the gas are collected at the upper part of the fatty acid trap and discharged. The device is composed of spray pipe, cylinder, filler and distributor. The gas distilled from the deodorization tower contains a certain amount of condensable components. After being absorbed by the fatty acid trap absorption device, the non-condensable components are discharged into the atmosphere.
Installation and commissioning
1. The flatness tolerance of the distribution disc is 3mm, and the center line coaxiality tolerance is 3mm.
2. When the deodorization tower starts to feed oil, start the fatty acid circulation pump immediately. Before that, the relevant valve of the fatty acid thermostat should be opened and the temperature of the fatty acid should be adjusted to 50°C.
Operating points
1. There should be special personnel to inspect and record the working conditions of the vacuum system pipes and valves, so as to prevent running, popping, dripping and leaking.
2. Open the vacuum system in strict accordance with the operating procedures, and empty the sewage before starting and after stopping.
3. Regularly check and clean up the scale in the tank to prevent local blockage and scale.
