Deodorization is an important process in the oil processing process, and the deodorization pot is the key equipment in the intermittent oil refining process. Its function is to remove free fatty acid, oily smell, soapy smell and other peculiar smells produced in the process of processing, so as to increase the smoke point, reduce the peroxide value and improve the flavor of edible oil.

Grease deodorization means that in a high vacuum state, water vapor passes through high-temperature grease containing odorous components, and the gas-liquid surface contacts, and the odorous components in the oil volatilize into the water vapor bubbles, and are released with water according to the ratio of their partial pressure. The steam escapes together to achieve the purpose of deodorization.

When deodorizing, part of the direct steam is ejected from the dispersing plate of the deodorization pot, and the other part of the direct steam is ejected from the nozzle, so that the oil in the central circulation pipe rises together at a high speed. Under the recoil action of the oil cover, some of the oil forms particles, and the other part of the oil returns to the oil outside the central tube in the shape of an algal film along the oil shield, thus forming a strong oil circulation, thereby greatly increasing the contact between oil and steam The surface area greatly improves the deodorization effect.

The shell of the deodorization pot is a vertical cylinder with elliptical heads at both ends of the top and bottom. There is an air bag on the top cover to maintain a certain vaporization space. In order to reduce the splash loss, there is a serpentine pipe in the pot, which is used to pass heat carrier to heat the grease or pass cold water to cool the grease. The lower part of the pot has a direct steam dispersion plate with many small holes, and there is an oil circulation device in the center of the deodorization pot-direct steam nozzle, central circulation pipe and oil shield.
