Recently, a study delegation from the ASEAN Food Security Workshop, organized by Henan University of Technology, visited Huatai Intelligent Equipment Group in Huaxian, Henan.
The visit was accompanied throughout by Mr. Li Xiuhui, Deputy Governor of Huaxian County, Mr. Xu Bin, Director of the County Science and Technology Bureau, and Mr. Yan Bo, Vice Chairman of Anyang Federation of Industry and Commerce and General Manager of Huatai.
A warm welcome and an open exchange
Mr. Yan Bo welcomed the delegation and introduced Huatai's development history, industrial layout and technological achievements in intelligent grain and oil equipment.
He noted that food security is a major concern shared by all countries. Huatai has spent decades in grain and oil machinery manufacturing, actively supporting national food-security strategies, with products exported to many countries and regions and a strong international reputation.
Inside the workshops
The delegation toured Huatai's production workshops and intelligent equipment showcase, seeing the complete process of:
- Oilseed pressing equipment
- Solvent extraction equipment
- Refining equipment
Mr. Yan Bo explained key aspects — equipment intelligence, production automation, energy saving and environmental protection — and answered questions on post-harvest grain loss reduction and processing technology upgrades. The exchange was lively, with active questions from the participants.
Stronger cooperation ahead
Delegates said the visit gave them a direct and deeper understanding of Huatai's technical strength and manufacturing level. They will take what they learned back to their countries and explore cooperation in grain production and processing, to jointly strengthen regional food security.
Representatives of Henan University of Technology noted the visit is an important step in deepening China–ASEAN agricultural cooperation and food-security technology exchange.
Huatai will continue to leverage its strengths, expand international cooperation, and contribute more to global food security.
