STEP1
Mustard Seeds Cleaning

Cleaning mustard seeds is the first step in the oil plant. Seed cleaners are used to remove foreign substances such as stones, dirt, leaves, etc., ensuring that the extracted oil is pure and of high quality.
STEP2
Mustard Seeds Heating

The mustard seeds are dried and heated. Heating the seeds can increase the oil yield and increase the yield. The process also increases the availability of protein in the by-product seed cake. This step can be omitted for mustard oil production lines using the cold-pressed process.
STEP3
Mustard Oil Extraction

The pre-treated mustard seeds are immediately fed into the oil press, and to extract the maximum oil from the mustard seeds, there are 4 extraction stages. After four stages of pressing, about 6-7% of the oil in the cake remains, which can be used as animal feed.
STEP4
Mustard Oil Purification

Before filling and storage, the extracted crude oil is filtered and purified to remove impurities and unhealthy components from the oil. If you want to produce high-quality or high-end mustard oil, it is recommended to use an edible oil refining process.
