Soybean Oil Production Line

Huatai Group's soybean oil production line adopts puffing oil pressing technology, which uses high temperature and high pressure to extrude and puff soybeans to make the oil easier to extract. Puffing can destroy the cell structure of soybeans and increase the permeability of oil, thereby increasing the oil yield.

The entire process covers multiple sections, such as metering and cleaning, conditioning, crushing and flaking, puffing, drying, and cooling. The soybean meal produced during the pressing process can also be used as feed or further processed into other ancillary products to achieve comprehensive utilization of resources.

Soybean Pretreatment Process

Before soybean oil production, soybean pretreatment needs cleaning, crushing, softening, flaking, extrusion, etc., which provides conditions for the next step of soybean oil processing.

  • Soybean Cleaning

    Strictly control the quality of raw materials: Choose soybeans with full grains, free of pests and diseases, and free of mildew. When purchasing, strictly test the quality of soybeans, including moisture content, impurity content and other indicators, to ensure that the quality of raw materials meets the requirements.

  • Soybean Crushing

    The thickness of the rolled flaking sheet is controlled at 0.3 - 0.5 mm to increase the area for oil to seep out.

  • Soybean Softening
    & Rolling

    The function of conditioning is to adjust the moisture and temperature of the soybeans so that they have a certain degree of plasticity, making it easier to separate the oil from the embryos during pressing. Soybean rolling is the process of using the mechanical function to roll the soybean from the granular to the flake.

PRESSING PROCESS

If the pressing method is combined with the leaching method, first pressing to extract part of the oil, and then leaching the pressed cake, the oil yield can be further improved.

Accurately control temperature and pressure: During the pressing process, temperature and pressure are key factors affecting the oil yield.

Generally speaking, the temperature is controlled at 100℃ - 110℃, and the pressure is adjusted according to the characteristics of soybeans and the performance of the oil pressing equipment, which can make the oil flow out more easily and increase the oil yield.

During the solvent extraction process, parameters such as temperature, time and solvent ratio must also be controlled.

Soybean Oil Solvent Extraction Process

The extraction method uses chemical solvents to dissolve the oil in soybeans, and then evaporates the solvent by heating and evaporation to obtain the oil. This method has an oil yield of up to 99% and high production efficiency.

The oil obtained by the extraction method is clear in color and has fewer impurities, which is suitable for a variety of food processing and cooking needs. Due to the high oil yield, the production cost of the extraction method is relatively low, and the price of the oil is more affordable.

SOYBEAN EXTRUDING

Soybean Extruding Process

The extruding process can destroy the tissue cells in the soybean oil, making it easier for the oil to be released from the cells, thereby improving the extraction efficiency and shortening the extraction time. Puffing extraction allows the oil in the soybean to be extracted more fully, so the oil yield is relatively high. The amount of oil after puffing increases, and the production capacity of the extraction equipment increases accordingly, thereby reducing the power consumption per unit output.

After puffing, the protein in the soybean material denatures, the polarity of the surface decreases, and the ability to absorb liquid decreases, which increases the concentration difference of the mixed oil during the extraction process and improves the leaching effect. This helps to reduce the solvent content of the wet meal after extraction, thereby effectively controlling the amount of steam and achieving the purpose of desolventization.

REFINERY PROCESS

Soybean Oil Refining Process

The crude soybean oil obtained by leaching has a slight solvent residue, and also contains mechanical impurities generated during production, as well as phospholipids, free fatty acids and pollution residues in the oil itself. These impurities and pollutants need to be removed by refining equipment to improve the quality of soybean oil.

Crude soybean oil usually contains more pigments. Through the decolorization process, these pigments can be effectively removed, making the soybean oil present a clear and transparent appearance, which meets national standards and consumer expectations.

Soybean oil itself has a beany smell, and may also form odorous substances such as burnt or white earth smell during the production process. Through the deodorization process, these odorous substances can be effectively removed, making the soybean oil have a purer and fresher flavor, which meets the tastes of mass consumers.
